Back from #ReactParis26, a few considerations popped up in my mind. First of all, the conference was really great, well organized, and the speakers were absolute top stars.
Many of the talks were simply enlightening.
During the two days I felt a positive energy and I realized that the web development universe is almost like a family, there was a sense of community and the same drive to make our world a bit better (and consequently, improve the daily life of all the web users, which, let's be honest, are the vast majority of the inhabitants of our planet).
The gist of the event is the renewed focus on beautiful UI, improving usability and keeping the user experience consistent. With a little more care and love we can make our user experience smooth and even unforgettable. The number of benefits this can bring is often underestimated.
My personal highlights were the talks I was looking forward to hearing: Una Kravets, Dominik Dorfmeister, Tanner Linsley, and some "new entries": Chris Feijoo, Mark Erikson, Bree H. and Daishi Kato. Sarah Dayan and Tejas Kumar were absolutely impeccable MCs.
Once again, the importance and the impact of the open source community proves to be crucial (and gets much less credit than it should).
Overall, I felt a sense of positivity and an optimistic view of the future, leaving Paris with a big smile and my heart full of good news. Something that is really needed, at this point history, given that we are surrounded by pessimism, bad news, negativity.
So, thanks React Paris Conf By BeJS and thanks to everyone who's trying to make the (web) world 🌐 a better place.
